We are shedding to a new website ....

Hi everyone,

It has been nearly an year that Indian Horror Tales (IHT) has been online serving Indian spooky tales and encounters all across the globe - it was a fun journey, we got to learn a lot, and with all the pats and scolds - the journey was really worth it. But now, with all the responses coming across, we have decided to move on to set a concrete destination for Indian supernatural stories, encounters & research. And yes, we cannot do it alone - we will need you by our side, all through along.

The Murder Echoes – Ghost Sighting in Kanpur

A Personal Encounter by Sunil (Kanpur)

This is an incident I witnessed when I was 14 years old. I had been to my village during Holi (a festival in India). One day, I went to my Uncle’s farm in the evening to play with my friends. After some time, all my friends went home, leaving me with my pet puppy Sheru.

The Haunted Encounter on Sudhagad Fort (Maharashtra)

A Personal Encounter by Vishal Jadhav (Pune, Maharashtra)

(This article has been rewritten partially / entirely so as to optimize it for typos, grammar and sentence construction. Care has been taken so as to preserve the original series of events and the related details.)

Hi everyone, today I am going to narrate a true story that took place with me and six of my friends in the year of August (2012). We planned an overnight trek to the Sudhagad (also called as Bhorapgad) fort situated near Khopoli village (ahead of Pali village). We decided to go there on Saturday, at around 1 pm. I had been there once, so I knew the road up to the fort fairly. I also had a plan to cook some great Chicken Biryani for dinner, just to add up to the thrill. We rechecked our inventory – torches, extra clothes, snacks and a plastic sheet banner, just in case the rains worsened (yes, it was mid rainy season) and we needed something to roof us.

You are not going back alone - A late night haunting

A Personal Encounter by Six6six (Ahmedabad, Gujarat)

I have always been a very skeptic person that never believed in anything until every possibility was checked closely. I never knew that my habit of getting to the bottom of every situation might lead me into something really serious and now i think something is always there around me, watching me constantly.
